Edinburgh’s tech festival, Turing Fest, has announced a stellar lineup of internationally-renowned speakers from a host of globally-recognised companies.
Running from the 1st to 2nd of August at the EICC, Turing Fest is one of the fastest-growing tech conferences in Europe, delivering two days of insight and peer-to-peer networking for people working in the tech industry.
Turing Fest has been running since 2011 and has previously attracted speakers from companies such as Skyscanner, FreeAgent and Mallzee. This year’s event is expected to be the largest yet, with a turnout of over 2,000 people ranging from investors, founders, designers, engineerings and marketeers exploring the conference’s six core themes; Product, Engineering, Strategy Growth, Marketing and Culture.
Brian Corcoran, CEO of Turing Fest said: “Turing Fest is already Scotland’s flagship tech event both for showing the world what is happening here on the ground, and also attracting the best international talent, investors, and founders into the country.
“The fact that we run on the shoulder of the Edinburgh Festival is a great bonus, especially for our international visitors — Turing Fest 2018 includes participants from more than 20 countries. We’ve got ambitious plans for the future, and we’re just getting started!”
The two-day conference will feature over 50 speakers delivering a wide range of sessions, so who should you look out for? Here are some of the ones to watch:
