The programme for this years’ Startup Summit has been announced. The event, created by WeAreTheFuture, will be hosted at Edinburgh’s Assembly Rooms on Wednesday November 1st, and brings together the founders, leaders and investors behind some of the world’s most successful startups.
The Programme
Split across three stages, the Summit will give participants the opportunity to get to grips with all stages of a startup – from birth, to growth, to exit.
The Main Stage will feature CEOs keen to share their personal startup stories, thoughts and experiences. These include leaders like Marie Owen, Founder of LS Productions, who helped to establish Scotland as a desirable location for brands like Chanel, BMW and British Vogue for photoshoots and TV advertising.
DIGIT’s own Brian Baglow will also be taking to the Main Stage as he chairs a discussion panel alongside Jim Duffy (from Moonshot Academy), Eleanor Mitchell (from Scottish Enterprise) and Emma Jones (from Enterprise Nation). Debate will focus around the challenges facing entrepreneurs as they build a business.

The Business Builder Stage will play host to entrepreneurs and experts alike, offering their advice on how to grow and scale a business. It will provide insight on tricky areas such as building a brand and enlarging your consumer base.
Taking to the Business Builder stage are Sarah Stenhouse, CEO and Founder of media content service Pixey and Michael Corrigan, Manager at ergonomic travel pillow company Trtl.
And finally, the Impact Stage will feature a ‘new wave’ of entrepreneurs encouraging real growth in the Scottish economy.
On the Impact Stage are leaders including Callum Murray, Founder and CEO of anti-money laundering and compliance firm Amiqus, and Delfina Zagarzazu, Co-Founder of international design company Innodriven.
