Make Your Pitch at IEEE’s Startup Networking Event for a Chance to Win a Trip to California

IEEE, the world’s largest technical professional organisation dedicated to advancing technology for humanity, today announced a unique Startup Networking Event, brought to you by IEEE Standards Association (IEEE-SA). On 18 May 2017, at the Sheraton Grand in Edinburgh, Scotland, local startups will have a unique opportunity to present their innovative ideas to a diverse group of enterprise and investor panellists and a chance to win one of two trips to Silicon Valley, CA.

There are two opportunities to win. In the first session, up to six startups will be selected, based on their submissions, to give a visionary presentation describing an idea that has the potential to impact business and/or technology.

These startups will then engage in roundtable discussions with the audience to explore their ideas and assess their potential impact on the business and technology landscape. A winner will be selected to participate in our next Silicon Valley event!

In the second session, selected startups will pitch their ideas to our diverse group of industry and investor panelists, who in turn will provide feedback, advice and recommendations. A winner of this session will also be invited!

If you are a startup and would like an opportunity to pitch, please submit your presentation.

Attendees will also have an opportunity to learn about IEEE’s key initiatives designed to benefit the IoT ecosystem, foster innovation and help facilitate market acceleration.

If you would like to attend, request an invitation to this unique networking event ASAP.
