The TechForce has secured the support of leading artificial intelligence cyber security firm DarkTrace.

Aberdeen-based cyber security specialist, The Tech Force, has partnered with one of the top global artificial intelligence (AI) powered cyber security defence companies, Darktrace.

Darktrace employs more than 1,000 employees in 44 offices with headquarters in San Francisco, California and Cambridge, UK and is at the forefront of autonomous response technology.

The partnership will see The TechForce deploy Darktrace’s cyber AI technology on its platform, which will enable its customers to detect and monitor in-progress attacks anywhere across their entire digital infrastructure, including the cloud, software as a service (SaaS), corporate networks, internet of things (IoT) and industrial control systems.

Every three seconds, Darktrace AI fights back against a cyber-threat, preventing it from causing damage. The company’s Enterprise Immune System learns the ‘pattern of life’ for every device and user across the digital estate and uses this evolving understanding to detect and respond to emerging cyber-threats in real time.

Andrew Tsonchev, director of technology at Darktrace, commented: “Amidst increasing complexity of digital businesses and a constantly evolving threat landscape, cyber security has never been of greater importance.

“It is with great pleasure that we announce our partnership with The TechForce, as they share our vision of helping more organisations trust autonomous systems to defend against cyber-threats.”

Jai Aenugu, managing director at The TechForce, said: “We are thrilled to have secured the support of one of the world’s leading experts in this field and we look forward to what the future holds for both our companies throughout this new partnership.

“For a relatively young firm, it gives us a great deal of confidence to have been recognised by someone with the strength and expertise of Darktrace, which will create and deliver benefits for our own clients to ensure their business-critical data and systems are effectively protected.”

The TechForce was recently awarded Approved Cyber Essentials Practitioner (Advanced) status and secured a place on the Government’s highly-competitive G-Cloud 11 procurement framework for cyber security services.
