Glasgow Software Firm to Help Youth Employment Accelerator

Sofware solutions businesses Caseblocks is helping to transform South African Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator with its adaptive case management platform.

Caseblocks, a leading global provider of cloud-based adaptive case management solutions, is rolling out its adaptive case management platform to support non-profit organisation Harambee, a youth employment accelerator, in building a work-seeker support system and technology platform.

Harambee is working collaboratively with a number of social and technology partners, including Caseblocks, to build a work-seeker support system and technology platform. The software firm’s adaptive case management system will enable Harambee to scale to meet greater demands at a national level, and in doing so will help hundreds of thousands of young workers currently locked out of employment in South Africa.

Continual Data Processing Will Improve Matching Algorithms

The platform will support and manage the complex processes involved in candidate recruitment, search, training, selection and job placement. New candidates are found across South Africa and are welcomed on to the platform by first building a personal profile, the cornerstone for future job matching algorithms.

Candidates are then matched to job opportunities and can be taken through training interventions required for specific roles. Candidates passing the interventions are offered interviews with the employer. Candidates not selected for employment are brought back into the available pool to be matched against more suitable opportunities.

Engagement with users is maintained beyond job placements, so if former candidates are looking for work again, they can make themselves available for future matching. The data is processed to continually improve and adapt the matching algorithms. The full solution is hosted on the Google Cloud Platform.

Software Will Help Harambee to Scale
