Be IT Growth Reports Reflect an Impressive Year

Be-IT expansion

Scotland’s leading IT recruitment specialists, Be-IT, have reported impressive growth over the last 12-months as the company continues to develop Scotland’s digital talent.

Scotland’s leading IT recruitment specialists, Be-IT, have posted impressive financial results for the previous 12-months.

Gross revenue at Be-IT has increased by an impressive 55%, while revenue has also increased by 40%. Now in its fourth full year of trading, the digital transformation resourcing group has grown from strength to strength and has increased turnover to £11.2 million.

A Bright Future

The company predicts another exciting year ahead, with revenue once again expected to grow by up to 50% – taking it to a staggering £17.5 million.

Managing Director, Nikola Kelly believes the firm can continue to grow in what she described as a “vibrant marketplace”.

She said: “We celebrate our fifth birthday this month and we are proud to have established ourselves as Scotland’s number one independent IT recruitment firm.

“Increasing demand for digital technology and transformation skills across all business sectors has heralded exciting times for us.”

Kelly added: “We are ambitious and confident that Be-IT can continue to grow in a vibrant marketplace.”

The previous year has seen a whirlwind of change at Be-IT, who invested £100,000 in a fabulous new headquarter in Glasgow city centre. The firm also underwent a management restructuring earlier in 2018, with Nikola Kelly promoted to Managing Director and Gareth Biggerstaff announced as CEO. The firm also has offices in Edinburgh and Belfast.

Driving Transformation

Scotland’s business environment is undergoing drastic change – an increase in digitalisation in business and public services, cyber security, robotics and big data are having a radical influence on both the Scottish and UK marketplaces.

CEO Gareth Biggerstaff suggested that Be-IT is at the forefront of this change and that the company’s continued growth is a reflection of the quality of its services.

Biggerstaff said: “Be-IT’s continued strong growth is a reflection not only of the demand within our marketplace but of the services that our teams provide to both candidates and clients across the UK.”

Commenting on the future, Biggerstaff said that the company plans to further enhance its offering over the coming year and bring other services to the market. He added that Be-IT hopes to increase its growth by around 40-50% in the coming years.
